LinketySplit accounts don't use passwords by default. You sign in — and register, the first time — with your email address and a short code sent to that address.
If we don't recognize the email address, entering a valid code registers a new account for you automatically — there's no separate signup form. If we do recognize it, the same code just signs you back in. Either way, it's the same first step.
There's a "remember me" option on the sign-in page. Leave it on and your session persists across visits; turn it off on a shared or public computer and you'll be signed out when you close the browser.
The same account works whether you're buying access to an article as a reader or managing a publication's settings as a publisher — see How LinketySplit works. There's nothing to set up twice, and nothing that ties a specific email address to only one role.
