Buying access to an article

Every locked article on a LinketySplit publication has its own purchase page. There's no subscription to start and no publication-wide account to create — you're buying access to that one article.

Three steps: land on the purchase page, choose a quantity, then read and share any extras

The price you see is the price you pay

The purchase page shows the price for one copy up front. Some articles also offer a lower price per copy when you buy several at once — that ladder, if there is one, is shown right on the page before you commit to a quantity.

Buying more than one copy

You don't have to be buying only for yourself. Choose a quantity greater than one and you'll get that many separate copies of access to hand out — send the links to family, a colleague, anyone you think should read the piece. Each copy can be claimed by a different person, once.

If you're already entitled to read the article yourself, copies from a new purchase all go to other people — you can't double up on your own access to the same article.

No subscription, ever

A LinketySplit purchase is a one-time payment for one article. It doesn't renew, and it doesn't sign you up for anything on that publication beyond the article you bought. If you decide you want an ongoing relationship with a publication, that's between you and them — LinketySplit doesn't turn a single purchase into a subscription on its own.
